We are extremely proud to begin the 23rd season of the Memphis Boychoir with 21 boys between the ages of 6 and 11. This season promises to be both challenging and rewarding. We have recently been invited to sing Evensong at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. This will be a life-changing opportunity for the boys and adults in our program. Performing and interacting with institutions like the National Cathedral promotes a great sense of growth and development in the Memphis Boychoir. We are focused not only on the continuing musical growth of the boys, but also the process of them developing into the next great leaders in the city of Memphis. We continue to search and recruit boys who love to sing as well as families that appreciate the life-long skill of music making that their children are exposed to.

The tradition of boys singing and leading the worship experience has been a part of the church for hundreds of years. We are thrilled to be immersed in this tradition and performing this great repertoire. I invite you to search our website and to experience the sound of centuries at one of our 2010/11 programs.

Peace – Geoff
